A rigorous procedure was established on the free span analysis of offshore pipelines. The closed form solutions of the beam–column equation, considering tension and compressive force, were derived for the various possible boundary conditions. The solutions can be used to find the natural frequencies of the free spans using the energy balance concept. The results can be applied to improve the current design codes. The improved procedure will yield more realistic calculations of the allowable free span lengths of offshore pipelines. Some calculations are included to present the sensitivity of the axial forces on the allowable free spanning lengths.  相似文献   

Exchange flow of oil and sea-water in a ruptured submarine pipeline

The rupture of a submarine oil pipeline starts various mechanisms leading to an oil spill. Among these mechanisms the leakage of oil driven by the difference in specific gravities of oil and sea-water is difficult to estimate. A simple mathematical model has been developed and laboratory experiments have been carried out to obtain an insight into the density-driven exchange flow and to determine the leak rate. The mathematical model is predictive and takes account of the effects of friction, inclination of the pipeline, and inertia of the fluid. The experiments were done in a horizontal model pipeline. Theoretical and experimental results are in satisfactory agreement.  相似文献

-Based on the calculation model for the floating laying of the offshore oil pipeline, this paper analyses in detail the internal force, and deformation of the pipeline under a definite structural form (pipeline and buoy) and the way of pulling. The obtained results can be used for the buoy deployment, structure design, and the determination of pulling parameters (the pulling force of the cable and its length, etc.), providing an effective analysis method for floating pipeline-laying. 1种全新的深水立管系统——钢悬链线立管（Steel Catenary Riser，SCR）在翠西哥湾（Golf of Mexico）、坎普斯湾（Campos Basin）、北海（North Sea）和西非（West Africa）得到了成功应用。它的适用水深为300～3000m，且适用现有任何浮式结构，从浅水的固定式平台到极深水的浮式生产储运系统（FPSO）。因此，它取代了传统的柔性立管和顶张力立管，成为深水油气开发的首选立管，被认为是深水立管系统的成本有效的解决方案。  相似文献

建设油气输送管道需依据一定比例尺的带状地形图进行施工图设计,本文以WorldView-Ⅲ卫星0.31 m分辨率的遥感立体像对为数据源,利用MapMatrix遥感影像数据处理平台进行立体数据采集,采用AutoCAD和南方CASS软件进行数据编辑,输出满足需要的DLG(数字线划图)。通过比对地面检查点与DLG成果来研究所得DLG的平面和高程精度,为高分辨率遥感技术在油气输送管道行业探索了新的应用方向。  相似文献
